Facebook Messenger Permissions HYPE!

Hey Media outlets, this hype over the Facebook messenger app is just stupid. People, you’ve been giving up the same rights since day one with MOST of your apps, and you never threw a fit! But now Facebook splits off its messaging app and the whole world freaks out? Yeah, it sucks that it’s a standalone app, but the whole “they can record me whenever they want” comments are silly. You realize any app that can do video, or take pics, or send a message has the same permissions??? I give you some examples below. One you’ll see is Facebook messengers permissions. The other two are two of the most widely used apps in the store. Instagram and Snapchat. And for good measure, I’ll toss in the permissions for Facebook in general. Take a look. Oh, and for those of you who will only keep the standard Facebook app cuz of all this crazy stuff the messenger app can do, I got news for you… Facebook has WAY more permissions than stand alone Messenger app does. And we’ve all been using it for how many years without pitching a fit? You’ll see those permissions below too.. Have fun!
